Part 1: Reducing Stigma. Is That Possible?

“People tend to treat mental health like some big scary monster in Singapore,” shares Carla, a youth community member with Resilience Collective.
Hear as Carla sheds a light on the need to understand mental health conditions to help mitigate the barriers of mental health stigma. She mentions having to face mental health stigma due to the lack of understanding of mental health conditions and symptoms, especially among adults such as parents or their loved ones.
To continue tackling stigma, Carla also explains the need to be more aware of such conditions and symptoms to be able to nurture empathy to erase the walls of stigma.
Carla is also a creative in the arts industry and is looking at ways to expand her plant collection as a plant mom!
